As wordpress blogs are very popular to find information you have been searching for, its also a great place to promote your own image as well as you own websites. Checking out the comments left by others can take the blog post to a new level, as you will be able to learn from what others have to say. Now a missing piece to leaving comments on blogs is providing a avatar image which will be posted on every comment you leave.

Is there any other way to let user choose his or her profile picture without using gravatar ??

From what I can see, gravatar is the fastest and easiest way to add your profile picture to your commenting section. I don’t know of any other way to do.
